I think that the Maliseet Nation along with other Wabanaki nations. The Wabanaki confederacy, Iroquois Confederacy, Inuit Circumpolar Conference and other nations should gather an international conference of their own to discuss climate change in light of the current Copenhagen Conference on Climate Change. Although I do not belong to the Maliseet nation or any other North American indigenous people, I support native rights and believe that the Maliseet people have something to say in this matter, have the right to be heard, and as a sovereign nation, as they have always been the true and ancient stewards of the St. John River Valley, should stand up and have their voices heard on this matter. Please comment, I would like to know what other people think?

I think I answered my own Question. The webpage for the Community Site only allows 2000 characters. I believe this to be the reason why it wasn't posted. It was never sent to the server. Hey Folks, I posted the Letter Sent to Chief Joanna Bernard regarding Native Voices. I wanted to be sure all members had a chance to review it and see what we said to the Chief n Council. Yet it still is not up online. Does anyone actually check this postings? If so who would that be?
