OLYMPIC TORCH RELAY
On November 28th, Dina Ouellette, our protector of the flame, was joined by David Couturier, another young member of Madawaska Maliseet First Nation. David carried the olympic torch through our community. David is active in many sports and will be graduating high school in june 2010. The Madawaska band council would like to express great pride and joy to have Dina and David represent the first nations in this prestigious national event.
